Has your business been instrumental in influencing communities?
I have found that so many people feel stuck and/or unfulfilled in their lives and they don’t know where to turn or how to move forward. We have this tendency to simply endure and survive the events in their lives, instead of being in action on what we want. I created a community event to impact connectivity and contribution within our city of Miami. This is the nature of my profession, as I am a Business Coach, and the event became an expression of what I do.
I found another coach from the UK, Shivani Mair, who started Flash Mob Coaching events (http://www.creativeby-nature.com), and I brought this concept to Miami for Valentine’s Day this year. The purpose of the event was to “be of service and contribute” as coaches to the growth and wellness of our community. The event was completely free and applied the “flash mob” concept to coaching by interacting on the streets and in a short period of time.
I gathered a group of extraordinary coaches with varied professional focuses, from life coaching, to business coaching, to relationship coaching, and spiritual coaching. We opened up possibilities for people in areas where they felt stuck in just 10-15 mins. We appeared in a flash, as we coached for only one hour, but truly became present to how our professional passions could be used to impact the wellness of another.
Don’t think it sounds possible? Check out the pictures from our event, where you can see the coaches connecting with people about their career pursuits, relationship with mom, moving to a foreign country, fears about parenting, drug addictions, and financial situations.
am extremely grateful to everyone who participated in the event:
